Working with Leah was a truly meaningful part of my pregnancy and birth experience. From the very beginning she brought this wonderful combination of curiosity, thoughtfulness, and genuine care that made the whole process feel much more grounded and intentional. She approaches birth in a deeply holistic way—something that can feel surprisingly rare in a healthcare landscape that often leans quite clinical and a little narrow in perspective.

Leah is also exceptionally well educated. What I appreciated most is that she never pushed a particular philosophy or agenda about birth. Instead, she meets women exactly where they are. Whether someone envisions a highly medicalized birth, something deeply natural, or anything in between, Leah’s approach is to expand the mind a little… to share knowledge, context, and perspective so women can actually discover what they want from their birth experience.

Through her guidance, my husband and I became far more knowledgeable about pregnancy and birth than we otherwise would have been. More importantly, we both felt super empowered. There were several moments along the way within my OB care where I walked away feeling like my autonomy had quietly slipped out the door. Leah helped me to slow things down and unpack what was actually happening: what the options were, what the risks and benefits looked like, and what decisions still very much belonged to me and us.

I had an extraordinarily beautiful birth—one that I reflect on with immense positivity and gratitude. It’s taken some time and reflection to realize that not all women get to experience that. Leah’s presence, wisdom, and very gentle encouragement were vital in shaping that experience.
